I started a new life in high spirits after my retirement from Mainichi Newspaper Publishing Company. While I worked as a reporter of financial news, I had many chances to interview political and economic leaders, including Prime Ministers, foreign ministers in other countries. I conducted interviews with them through interpreters. I am not good at speaking, although I don’t have any trouble reading and hearing English.
I want to change the old English education in Japan which I received. I opened our school with my wife. I am looking forward to seeing you.

毎日新聞社を定年退職し、第二の人生のスタートを切りたいと張り切っております。
経済部在職中、外国に赴き、首相、外相を含め、政治や経済界のリーダーにインタビューする機会が何度もありました。空港の入国審査で、とっさに英語で答えられないもどかしさを感じたり、インタビューの際、度々、通訳をお願いすることもありました。読むこと、聴くことには、不便はありませんでしたが、話すことは得意ではありませんでした。
このような従来の英語教育を変えたいと、妻とともにステップワールド英語スクール船橋宮本教室を開設致しました。宜しくお願い致します。
